The Beginning...

Rural Health Team members have worked hard to secure not only a usable site for our garden but also funding for equipment and a promise of help from the local District Council. All it needed was community support!

At the expressions of interest meeting on September 14th 2009 over 50 community members voiced their desire for it to work!

After an informative presentation and a wonderful afternoon tea volunteers for a committee were called for and a date set for their first meeting..
